Each piece is unique

... and something entirely different than digital print. The old-school technique of hand printing with linoblocks means that no artwork is truly alike. Colors are blended by hand and pressure is applied manually. This creates small variations which are charming evidence of the craft.

How it comes to life

  • Designing

    Every piece is designed in Denmark, going through multiple sketches before the final drawing is transfered to the lino block.

  • Cutting

    The surface of the block is removed in the desired pattern - most often in company of large amounts of coffee and chocolate.

  • Printing

    Ink is blended and rolled on the finished block, revealing the pattern. The artwork is pulled from the block after pressure is applied.
